The company will focus on developing software products for designing Long-Life Cycle (LLC) electronics products in market segments such as Healthcare, Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace and Defense, Power and Energy, etc. The LLC products typically have life-cycles lasting more than 7 years and face unique additional problems such as evolvability, reliability, and supply chain integrity besides the usual design considerations such as functionality, performance and power.  In comparison, the Short-Life Cycle (SLC) electronic products in consumer market segments such as smartphones, video games/consoles, TV, cameras, etc. typically last only 3 years or less and are primarily concerned with functionality, performance, power, cost, and time-to-market. Our design automation product will be unique and first in the industry to address these problems facing the LLC electronics market.
